Dear Naenne’s friends and followers, as we all know, feel and see, rain and cold days are a fact in the city. Those bright and sunny days, blue skies and fresh air are gone and it’s time to face once again reality through these dark and freezing evenings, thunders and storms. Nevertheless, we are just around the corner from another holiday weekend, after two long waiting months, finally we’ve got to rest one extra day on this upcoming weekend. It’s the perfect moment to begin preparing and planning out everything to enjoy it.

If you guys don’t have anything planned yet for this holiday, I’ve got a proposal for your fellows and different tips to keep in mind with your couples, your families and your mates. 3 hours away from Bogotá, there’s a magical country town called Honda in Tolima department, a very recomendable place to visit for its weather, its historical downtown and great places to spend the night, for all type of budgets fellows. It’s not really common place to visit, is not that usual as other classical warm destinations, but I have to say guys that it’s really worth it, it’s a unique and exploring place to visit at least once. I recommend you guys to leave your works as soon as possible on friday in order to hit the road the earliest to enjoy 3 nights and 4 days at this marvelous and amazing town.

 

 

In Honda, besides enjoying the warmer weather and have a beer by the pool, you get to go to different tourist spots to know and walk around. First, in downtown you will find beautiful and old houses, streets and infrastructure. You’ll have the chance to take gorgeous pictures and selfies, to watch the sunset with these beautiful places as a background. There are lots of places with excellent food as well fellows. It’s really worth it, especially sea food since Magadalena River passes by this town you guys will get to eat great fish dishes.

 

 

If you guys like active things to do, I suggest you fellows to go fishing or sailing on the Magdalena River. You can go cycling as well uphill on the mountains and the amazing bridges this place has. It’s a great opportunity to do different stuff and have a great holiday weekend dear followers.

For your stay, you guys have lots of options; from nice village houses to luxury hotels for all type of budget according to the guests as well. If you guys are coming with friends or family, I recommend you guys to rent a place or to stay at a hostel, if you are planning to visit Honda with your couple, I definitely suggest you guys to look up online for luxury hotels, with special themes and activities. Totally recommended.
